José Julian and Longina - a life history
This is farmer José Julian with his wife Longina. They have 11 children! In Guatemala this is quite common on the countryside of the province Chimaltenango. Many of those families are very poor. Although it doesn’t always have to be like that. José Julian and Longina work with Aj Ticonel for 8 years now. As they got higher incomes since that time, they could buy good clothing for the children and they could all be sent to school. The eldest children are even studying at the university now to become a nurse and an English teacher!
