Aj Ticonel has an advanced track and trace system for monitoring its products from the field to the clients purchase.  

All products that come in are registered at the reception area and get a specific traceability code. From that code we know from which farmer and from which lot the product comes. In case there is a quality problem found in any phase of the chain, we are able to recall all product from the same farmer.

All incoming products pass a quality check at the reception area. It is weighed and stored in a cold store before it is processed in the plant.

All personal is trained according to the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices. This means they are applying hygiene and food safety instructions in all stages of processing the product. After selecting, cleaning and/or cutting the product it is packed and stored in cold store again before it is taken to the airport or harbor. 

Transport is done in special cooling trucks.
